Watertown Branch of Boston & MainePart of abandoned midsection of old Watertown Branch of Boston & Maine Railroad. This spot is behind and east of the Watertown Mall. Ronald Dale Karr has some very interesting information about this line in his book entitled "The Rail Lines of Southern New England". The Watertown Branch was once a double tracked commuter line. Passenger service ended in 1938.
