Photo of Q410, Wells, ME
Q410, Wells, ME

Six axle engines SD45#684 and SD26#643 power eastbound Springfield Terminal Train Q410 at Wells, Maine, in the summer of 2000.
The Q410 symbol was a run through from CSX, however Springfield Terminal returned to alpha train symbols a few weeks later.
The second track had just been isntalled at the time the picture was taken, but it would be several months before it went into service. The Maine Turnpike can be seen passing over the railroad in the distance.

Photographed by Dave Wright, July 1, 2000.
Added to the photo archive by Dave Wright, June 9, 2001.
Railroad: Guilford.
