GP40Xs Back-to-back, SLR GP40Xs 3209 and 3210 lead train 394 south along with familiar GP40 #3000. The former two are the most recent, the most powerful and, with 23 originally built, the rarest locomotive type on the SLR. Photographed by Michael Eby, June 18, 2002.
