This 1961 early Blount operation utilized the unusual ex-CN 4-6-4T "Baltic" type locomotive. This engine is still owned by Steamtown and displayed in Scranton, PA.

This is Day 1 of the Bradford operation. The Bradford tank's water valve was rusted shut. A Scuba diver was unable to free it. That is my Jeep with the rear open because I had just taken out my Briggs & Stratton water pump and hoses to put on board the train in the combine in case of need. Right now the only water that #47 was getting was via a garden hose siphon from the water tank.
