Loaded Coal Train at Fitchburg

A loaded Bow coal train comes off the hill into Fitchburg after having a long journey from east Deerfield. The train came out of Deerfield with two NS units and two CP's. AFter loosing a CP unit on the grade at Royalston two ST SD26's were added to the train. The train then lost the lead NS unit climbing up to East Gardner. AFter getting a push over the top from WAED the train finially made down to Fitchburg by sunset with a great lashup consisting of NS C40-8 #8410, NS SD70 #2542, CP SD40-2 #5630, ST SD26 #619, ST SD26 #643 and 105 loads!
