Stored Alco at Newport The end of the line had come for the historic Alco RS2's which once displaced steam on CP's New England Lines. Now chop-nosed RS18u's had displaced the RS2's. 8404 was the only RS2 to have the 'Multi-Mark' applied in front of the cab. Photographed by Brian Nicholson, July, 1983.
