B&M in St Johnsbury

F7 4266 was just another tired F unit on the B&M in 1976. This unit was to be restored to pristine condition by the Conway Scenic and is still in service today. B&M power was common on CP freights south from Newport, Vt. The GP7's were just as historic behind the F.

Photographed by Brian Nicholson, July, 1976.
Added to the photo archive by Brian Nicholson, February 13, 2004.
Railroad: Boston & Maine.
