93 arrives in Providence

December 4, 2001, was a remarkable day for me. I rode the head-end of Amtrak No. 93 from Providence to New York's Penn Station. I did so legally with a head-end pass from my employer. The AEM-7 was one of the few remaining un-rebuilt engines, rated at 6,000 hp. The upgraded units deliver 8,000hp. Here's 93 arriving PVD.
