Approach signal at Groton

Near milepost 124, we caught an "approach" indication at the entrance to Groton Interlocking. Thames River Movable Bridge was just ahead around the curve to the left leading to New London Station. Ex-Groton Tower is the peaked roof structure to the right. I don't recall why we didn't have a clear indication.
