ST #23 in service with the hood end from ST #17

ST GP-7 #23 is simply painted "Springfield", on account of this unit taking the long hood end from ST #17. That unit had the words "Springfield Terminal" one on top of the other, while #23 had them spelled out the long way. The end result is classic.
