Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority engineer Larry Kitchen brings his train across the Attleboro Interlocking plant from track 1 to track 4. Train No. 811 left South Station in Boston on time at 2:15 p.m., and arrived Attleboro on time 45 minutes later. It's Larry's last trip for the day. A fresh engineer will take the train to Providence, departing Attleboro at 3:03 p.m. Amtrak block operator Jim Crowley has lined the train across the plant, and over to track 1 again west of Attleboro station, milepost 196.9 on the Northeast Corridor. Autumn 1992.
