Keep on Rolling Along

This photo was taken during a recent clean up of the Newport Secondary track that was conducted by the Old Colony & Newport Railway volunteers with the help to the City Year program. When these determined City Year volunteers realized that there was no way to lift this tire that they had found on the railway, they would not quit. They cleared all of the debris out of it and rolled it to the next intersection. There it was hoisted to a truck and hauled to the City of Newport recycling center.
