The Minuteman Bicycle Trail at Lexington, MA

This is the former Boston & Maine Station at Lexington, MA. Rail service ended on this line in 1977. The right-of-way has since become the Minuteman Bicycle Trail. The trail extends from the Alewife Red Line "T" Station in Cambridge approximately 12 miles to Bedford, MA. The famous Minuteman statue and the town common where the historic "shot heard 'round the world" was fired are both just a short distance from here.
