This is the first crossing west of the Newlywed bakery on the Watertown IT. Obviously a train has not run through here in years. A footnote in an old B&M timetable refered to the crew having to manualy operate the crossing protection here, I assume the control box on the traffic signal was that manual control. (The Watertown IT gets my vote for the worst condition trackage in all of New England)
