CPC restorer and master carpenter Roger Pierce in his domain

CPC Museum restorer and master carpenter Roger Pierce stands in his domain, BML#14, an open vestibule former baggage/RPO car built in 1897 for the Boston & Maine (ex-B&M#2328). Purchased by the B&ML in August, 1927, for $600, this car was converted to a tool car in January, 1943, and retired in December, 1949, to become the carpenter's shop in the Belfast yard, the same function it serves today in City Point.
