New Haven Wreck-West Roxbury, MA 1966

3/4 shot of NYNH&H RR RDC "Budd-Liner" showing damage after roll-over at West Roxbury (Boston) MA, April 1966. Evidence would show that person(s) had thrown a turnout, causing the RDC to suddenly and unexpectedly roll-over, as it could not handle the radius of the turnout curve at the speed in which it was travelling. Numerous injuries were the result of the malicious act victimizing the Boston- South Station bound train and its passengers/crew.

Photographed by Paul Joyce, April, 1966.
Added to the photo archive by Paul Joyce, May 18, 2006.
Railroad: New Haven.
