Trolley plow.

Here's an interesting prototype for you trolley modelers out there - Looking more like R2D2 than a trolley snow-plow, we are looking at the production line at Riverside Shops for three new plows on the Green Line. Simply made from multiple sheets of heavy steel affixed to an old truck, the plates gave the plow weight to move heavy accumulated snow on the line. The plows could be pushed by any trolley, and were good for up to two feet of snow. Appropriately, the shop has painted warning stripes colored tangerine and orange, respectively, for the first two plows. I'll bet you that number three was green !
