Main Line 100 miles north.

View of Bud and Boston Elevated Railway Company 0210 Main Line Number 3 car beautifully restored at the Seashore Trolley Museum. The 3's, built in 1906 by the Pressed Steel Car Company, saw the Main Line Elevated in all its manifestations, from early running through the Tremont Street Tunnel, through the Forest Hills and Everett extensions, to the Atlantic Avenue Elevated years. As the name implies, the cars were all steel, a safety design which became mandated by most subway and elevated lines countrywide following horrific crashes with wooden bodied cars. They ran until 1933.
