Evening Pony Show

Having had one of the worst days ever for railfanning Guilford's District 4, Chris Tirone and I were both ready to leave East Portal with heads low as the eastbound signal went high green about 6:00p. Finally, a chase would soon commence with a loaded Bow Coal train headed for East Deerfield, MA. At MP 407 in Charlemont, conventional GEs led loads through the curve and backlight along the Deerfield. Pays to wait out the light!
