Rudolph was a Little Early

A cold but crystal clear December 18, 1999 was spent in the truck unless a train was around. Just about midday, Christmas came a week early as old SEFR(Q422 at the time under CSX) came through Palmer, MA and CP 83 with a foursome of SD40-2s. Two Burlington Northerns were sandwiched by two of Conrail's own as antlers were out for the roll-by!

Photographed by Jeff Bray, December 18, 1999.
Added to the photo archive by Jeff Bray, April 28, 2007.
Railroad: CSX (Conrail).
