A Couple of Free Loaders

CSX was still just a rumor during the early sun of January 30, 1999. At CP79 in Brimfield, MA, the day's first Conrail westbound in good light came in the form of ML-433. With an already-uncommon "Quality" B40-8 on the point, two Canadian National loafers were also along for the ride ahead of the empty racks.

Photographed by Jeff Bray, January 30, 1999.
Added to the photo archive by Jeff Bray, October 26, 2007.
Railroad: Conrail.
