The Vermont Railway Bennington Local heads north through Danby, VT at 5:08 pm on Thursday, 10/23/2008. The train is returning to Rutland after interchanging cars at North Bennington for Pan Am Railways. The sun is just moments away from setting and the extremely low sun angle truly accentuates the fall colors on the distant mountains, making them almost look like they're on fire.
