Winnipesaukee Railroad approaching Weirs BeachHere locomotive 1008 or 959, can't see the numbers from here , an Alco S1, filling in for GP7 #302 leads a southbound train from Merdith, NH approaching Centenary Drive just before it enters Weirs Beach at the top of the image. How long before the cottages on the left are turned into mansions by a wrecking crew. Many old cottages have already been torn down to rebuild on the valuable land along the lake. If you look close you can spot the historic pedestrian bridge just before the boardwalk area at the top
