CENTRAL VERMONT 467 AT NEW LONDON ROUNDHOUSEWhite flags will soon be placed on the N-5a 2-8-0 to classify the fan trip she will pull to Amherst as an extra. 467 was built by Schenectady in 1923 and was the heaviest CV steam power to be seen in New London. Like many fans at the time, I too often used Kodak's Ektachrome because of its speed (and it was cheaper) but as we now know it fades to red. My slide scanner does a fair job of restoration but it's still a far cry from Kodachrome. If you question the color in any of the slides I've posted, its probably because they were Ektachrome.
