NEW HAVEN ALCO AT CHARLES STREET

ALCO S-1 0995 is in Providence, RI, outside the new three-stall section of the Charles Street Roundhouse which was built next to machine shop. This section lasted into the PC era, years after the original portion of the roundhouse was razed. A low sun and Ektachrome are the reason for the color tone.

Photographed by Edward Ozog, 1955.
Added to the photo archive by Edward Ozog, August 27, 2009.
Railroad: New Haven.
