On Oct.-17-2009, VTR # 201 GP-38 Excursion train Collides with a contract manure spreader at a New Haven, VT farm crossing at approximately 12:00pm with around 20 passengers, thankfully no one including the wayward manure spreader driver were hurt. However there was significant damage to both the engine and tractor with spreader.
