Wheel Greaser

Looking north towards Marlboro Junction. The tracks swing to the left in a mini-Horseshoe Curve. The east wye track to downtown Marlboro was about 200 feet from this location and the station was straight ahead where the track begins to curve. This line from here to Framingham was doubled tracked (note open space on the left) until 1938 and during the '30's was served by a dozen passenger trains between Framingham and Marlboro and a couple more between Fitchburg and Framingham.
