Cass Scenic Railroad's Shay #5 working it's way up grade

Cass Scenic Railroad's Shay #5, one of the oldest Shay's in operation on the Cass Scenic RR.
Built in 1905, put into service in November 1905. this Shay has been working on Cheat Mountain for her whole life!
It is kept in meticulous shape,and one of the regular locomotives to be used on the trip to Whittaker & Bald Knob.
It is seen here crossing Back Mountain Rd in Cass,WV on her trip to Whittaker Station.
