Old Cape Cod

"If you're fond of sand dunes and salty air
Quaint little villages here and there,"

To those of us that have had the pleasure of railroading, whether it be from the New Haven RR to the present Mass Coastal-Cape Cod Central, on Old Cape Cod, it is a very special place. And I have had the privilege of knowing and working with some very special Cape Cod Railroaders.

Staring with Gordon Fay, and now with John Kennedy and with the help of a new generation of railroaders, the rails are kept shinning by both passenger and freight trains, instead of an overgrown right of way or bike path.
What could typify Cape Cod Railroading more than the Elegant Dinner Train boarding passengers at Buzzards Bay with the station and one of the last remaining working "Signal Station" tower in the background.
Patti Page was right: "You're sure to fall in love with Old Cape Cod."
