Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railway, photo stop at Baileyville

The Massachusetts Railroad Enthusiasts, in cooperation with the Brooks Preservation Society, sponsored a “Tour of the Line” of the entire remaining operating trackage of the Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railway, covering the line from the edge of downtown Belfast west to Burnham Junction, the connection with the Pan Am Railways, a total of 32 miles. (A section to downtown Belfast was removed about 5 years ago)
