Rollin' Along The Hoosic River

Amtrak No. 44 leads the American Association of Private Passenger Car Owner's Amtrak special -'The Pine Tree Limited'- eastbound along the scenic Hoosic River in the town of North Pownal, Vermont. A parade of 26 private passenger cars are in the consist. The train ran (continued) from Mechanicville, NY to East Deerfield, MA on Saturday, September 20th; The train continued from ED to Portland, Maine the following Sunday morning. A convention is being held in Portland.
