The VTR B&R Job is seen with VTR/P&W #9000, GMRC #305 and VTR #301 returning from a trip to Walloomsac Recycling at the NY-VT state line. Once back in North Bennington, the crew would amass the plethora of cars needed to be taken by Pan Am Southern, and shove them down the Paran branch. With the sun dipping below the horizon by the time this task was completed, the crew was not looking forward to their future 6pm meet with PAS at Hoosick Junction. Possibly it was because the VTR well knows Pan Ams ability to 'meet' somewhere at a given time is very poor, but at any rate the meet was called off and the VTR crew was Taxied back home.
