PAR Leads The Way!

PAS train EDRJ rumbles across the bridge spanning the Green River at Greenfield, Mass. on March 4, 2015. Today's train is powered by the MEC 616, NS 9029, MEC 614, CN 2307, and CSX 4508. The MEC 616 just came back from a complete overhaul and a fresh coat of paint. Appropriately leading the way, at least on today's train. Catching a pure PAR blue engine leading on one of the big mainline freights between East Deerfield and NYS is also becoming somewhat of a rarity. Oftentimes NS or CSX power is on the point. Same goes for the eastbound counterparts.
