NA-1 / 380 by Robie's in Hooksett

Here was the NA-1 Crew on a late, but still very bright and breezy February afternoon passing by the historic Robie's Store in Hooksett. Soon Robie's will make it's annual 4 year appearance all over national TV, as the Presidential candidates stop by to make their case to the local folks. The business at Robie's is called "Roots Cafe & Catering", and they are open for breakfast and lunch with the interior being very well preserved.

MEC 380 was the first of Pan Am's rare high short hooded GP40s to appear on these rails in 2019. 380 wasn't here long, but long enough to catch the attention of local railfans who picked their spots around Robie's to photograph this rare bird. We were all very lucky no cars pulled up in front of the building as the train rumbled through..... Very lucky, indeed.
