Visitor Comments about this Photo:moonda viaduct listed as cornwall ny? Posted by Larry Watkins on 2020-03-20 17:40:54 A much appreciated thank-you goes out to Bruce Nelson, Larry Watkins & Ken Jackman for their help on identifying this location. On this day I was in unfamiliar territory, enjoying all the great photo locations, like a kid in a candy store. Apparently the 1988 NRHS annual convention at Somerset and associated excursions were fraught with problems, cancellations, late runnig trips, etc. Posted by John Barlow on 2020-03-21 08:42:48 I believe you fellas have your dates mixed up. The trip to Port Jervis was on July 30, 1988. The July 23 trip went up the West Shore to Selkirk and return....I chased both trips. The 765 WAS turned at Port Jervis, but I think there was some concern about it being able to handle the train on the return trip. It returned behind an NJT GP40P as pilot engine. Will post photos soon. Posted by Carl Weber Jr. on 2020-03-23 12:22:39 Oops, I think you might be right Carl. Back then I would "Locate & Date" my slides when I got them back from the developer, a week or two at the earliest. Thanks for the update.
