BML#54 in the enginehouse, Belfast, MEBuilt in 1948, BML#54 is one of 238 B-B 140/140, 600HP Cooper-Bessemer powered 70-ton yard switchers produced by General Electric between 1946 and 1958 at its shops in Erie, PA. The B&ML acquired this locomotive from the Berlin Mills Railway, of Berlin, NH. It is seen here in the B&ML's enginhouse in Belfast, ME.
