CVRTC Volunteers on Newport Secondary

The Cotton Valley Rail Trail Club, CVRTC, is an association of railway motorcar owners dedicated to performing volunteer right-of-way and rail trail maintenance in New England.

This photo shows CVRTC members:
Chris Sylvester - East Bridgewater,MA,
Bob Willhauck - Lunenburg, MA,
Bob Hebb - Ayer, MA, and
Ror Frendberg - North Easton, MA.


They are preparing to assist in the Old Colony & Newport Railway volunteers Maintenance of Way operation on the Newport Secondary track.

The Old Colony & Newport Railway has worked for the past 25 years to keep this track open and available. Having the availability of track cars, and these willing volunteers, is a great help.
