The country setting of the Newport Secondary Track gives the illusion of the Old Colony & Newport Railway 'running on grass'.

This picture shows one of the youngest, [do I mean newest!] volunteers, Chief Bob Willhauck operating the consist on the way to pick up a group of railfans from the Midwest.
