Midway! Part V

These tracks are the only tracks that remain in what was the Midway freight yard in Groton, CT. They are located just south of the roundhouse. These were laid about the same time the roundhouse was built: 1901. Stretching only about 50 feet, they're guarded by thick brush and prickers, making picture-taking somewhat difficult.
