B&ML Steel Bridge over the Sabasticook River, Burnham, ME

At the end of the B&ML's 33 mile run from Belfast, the grade crosses the Sabasticook River in Burnham, ME, over the longest bridge on the line. This view from the point of the guard rails at the West end of that steel span looks East toward Winnecook three miles away near Unity Pond, the first of seven stations along the route to Belfast.
