ENGINEER's VIEW OF GRAND TRUNK STATION PORTLANDI shot this from the cab of Grand Trunk 3406, an S-1-f 2-8-2 which the GT had posed for fans at its Portland, Maine station on the occasion of a B&M steam trip which terminated across town. The 4-8-2 for the Montreal train is the first engine.
