B&M P-2-b AT LYNN

Boston & Maine 4-6-2 3662 is leaving Lynn, Mass. with a commuter train from Boston that will hardly tax her power. On this day I shot three P-2 Pacifics and a Mogul with the evening commuter runs through Lynn but steam operation was getting to be irregular and would be over in a little more than a year, The 3662 was among the last active steamers and was scrapped in September 1956.

Photographed by Edward Ozog, 1955.
