New Crossing in Meredith, NH

Crossing rehabilitation has just finished on Lower Ladd Rd in Meredith at the north end of the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad's Yard. Before the overpass was constructed (far background) that brought US RT 3 over the railroad tracks, this was RT 3 that autos used in order to pass through Meredith to Ashland and beyond.

Alco S1 1008 awaits on the mainline to the right for the local lakeside scenic train to depart to the south out of Meredith Yard so it may then move onto the station track to the left to load its northbound foliage passengers.
