There had been a trotting horse training racetrack on the west side of Marlboro Junction throughout the 20th century. It went belly-up a couple of years ago. The city of Marlboro bought the property, tore down the stables and houses, dug up the race track, and created this modern sports complex for the public school system. CSX services the Junction Monday through Friday.
