Valley RR Roundhouse

These wheels and 19th century rails mark the location of a roundhouse built by the Valley Railroad that served Old Saybrook, CT from 1871 to 1922. The line extended from the current terminus at the junction with Amtrak's Northeast Corridor over the bay to Old Saybrook, and further via a causeway to the summer resort of Fenwick.
