MEC 614 At North Pownal, VT

Freshly-painted engine MEC 614 is seen leading Pan Am train RJED eastbound at North Pownal, Vermont. This is a roster shot I took to illustrate the paint details. Note how the trucks did not get the usual blue dip. Looking sharp in its new coat of paint. This is a former SD45-2 now downrated to an SD40-2. The engine was formerly painted in maroon paint and came from HLCX.
